Using the complete sound track from the show and filmed live in Melbourne, Australia 2008 during the World Tour’s first leg, this stunning DVD captures the art form of Ice Dance and allows the viewer to truly marvel at the skills of the Imperial Ice Stars. Superb sets, lighting design, Tony Mercer's direction and Tim A. Duncan's beautiful original music specially performed by the Moscow State Cinematic Orchestra and soloists from the Manchester Symphony Orchestra. Together with a cast of 26 skaters - including Andrei Penkine, Olena Pytash, Vadim Yarkov and Olga Sharutenko (Dancing on Ice) - combine to create a very special production. This recording directed by Mercer and edited by Ambience back in the UK was recorded over 3 live performances. Soon after the release of the DVD the Imperial Ice Stars were invited to perform for the first time at the Royal Albert Hall in Febuary 2010 to huge critical aclaim. Tim A. Duncan conducted his Manchester Symphony Orchestra live for the 8 performances to create yet another first for this amazing company of performers.

This is the Imperial Ice Stars most ambitious production to date, and once again Tim A. Duncan was asked to write a full score for the show. He and Edward Barnwell wrote over two hous of music to match the storyboard for the production. The Moscow State Cinematic Orchestra was used to record the full score with soloists from the Manchester Symphony Orchestra used to play the sumptuous melodies and themes which feature in this beautifully recorded and mixed CD. Peter Whitfield was once again brought into the fold, and Dave Alexander assisted with the production. Soon after the release of the CD the Imperial Ice Stars were invited to perform for the first time at the Royal Albert Hall in Febuary 2010 to huge critical aclaim. Tim A. Duncan conducted his Manchester Symphony Orchestra live for the 8 performances to create yet another first for this amazing company of performers.
